In a not-too-shocking twist, a hot new couple is coming to the Vampire Diaries!
But this time around the show is breaking new group with its first same sex couple.
Thanks to some new scoop via TVLine.com, we are getting info on new characters we can expect to see in Mystic Falls when TVD comes back to TV for its seventh season on October 8th. Nora and Mary Louise will be the new couple on the block and they are being dubbed a QUOTE dangerous duo of down low lovers with murderous tendencies. We also know both ladies are vampires in their mid-20’s and that they’ve kept their relationship on the downlow for more than 100 years. They have a clear connection to anyone around them, but QUOTE anyone foolish enough to cross either of them will feel both their wraths. And that’s not it guys, another newbie will be joining the TVD ranks – her name is Valerie and she too is a twenty something vamp, with a “dry sense of humor to counter a life of pain and dismissal.” Valerie’s character description also notes that she will meet someone who will help her remember the happier, free spirit she once was and that “She’ll do whatever it takes to keep him in her life.” Um…does anyone else smell a romance budding here? Or maybe Valerie and Damon will bond somehow now that Elena is gone. For the record, I’m still very NOT DONE processing that situation. But that’s for another time and another place.
