Stay out of the shadows and seal those band-aids because the Vampire Diaries is back and there are new photos! Blood, band-aids? Are you smelling what I’m cooking? ok. So the season 6 premiere of TVD is not far off and to celebrate, the CW has released several new photos that give us a glimpse into what is to come.
Lots going on in these photos. We see Alaric chatting it up with Caroline and Tyler And then Matt’s thrown in there as well and this other new chic, but what’s interesting about these stills is that none of them feature Elena, Stefan, and Damon? Was this done intentionally or are they actually in the pics but you can’t see them because they have no souls? Questions of life. In the photos we’re seeing a lot of face to face action, confrontation as usual, a head lock, and a meet and greet all of which are making me even more stoked to see these pics in motion! And speaking of meet n greets, in the photo where Alaric is meeting a woman, she apparently is going to be his new love interest named Jo. She’s described as a “tough and accomplished doctor who demands excellence from her students and has learned the hard way that there’s no room for error in her profession.” I’m liking what I hear, she sounds like a solid match for Alaric to bring home to mom right? All this tension and eye contact is giving me so many feels. What will happen with Caroline and Tyler? Will Matt step up his game and will Alaric finally start living his own life? So many questions soon to be answered. Season 6 is set to kick off right in time for Halloween in October. So what do we think of the photos?
