Iggy Azalea has an emotional on again, off again relationship with her upcoming tour, and things are now officially rescheduled.
Iggy Azalea was planning on kicking off her The Great Escape North American Tour in April of this year, but those plans reportedly came to a screeching halt yesterday when news outlets were saying that Iggy was possibly going to cancel the tour due to communication issues between the Aussie rap princess and her management team.
According from a statement from Def Jam, the tour WILL go on, it's just going to be postponed due to "tour production issues." The official statement said: To accommodate for creative team availability and tour productions, it was determined that the tour will not be ready this spring. It’s important to Iggy that she delivers the show she envisaged to share with her fans and that requires more time in development.”
So, the good news is that the delay is minor and the show will go in September, which is not a big deal. However, there is some possible bad news attached to this postponement. Both Nick Jonas and Tinashe were originally scheduled to hit the road with Iggy, but MTV has confirmed that this delay in scheduling now means that neither Nick or Tinashe will be joining her on tour.
Nick also confirmed the news on twitter saying: Unfortunately I'm not able to join the rescheduled Great Escape Tour, but you will still get to see me this spring, details coming!
