Big news – Demi and Nick hitting the road together and we’ve got the deets!
Dreams come true guys – it’s a little thing called the Future Now tour – scratch that – it’s a HUGE thing called the future now with Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas.
The longtime friends, collaborators and business partners hit Good Morning America earlier today to share the big news with the world – next year they will be heading out on tour together. The tour art is amazing – there’s something very Katniss and Peeta about thi s poster – futuristic, edgy and cool. And Nick opened up about why they decided to take this journey together.
Demi and Nick hope first and foremost that their fans enjoy the show – saying that’s the most important thing. The duo also talked about why they started Safehouse records, explaining that they want to make a community of artists that feel safe and vulnerable to create new music. If you ask me, it makes complete sense that Demi and Nick would tour together but apparently Adam Lambert was up in the mix to open for Demi and Nick allegedly ended up replacing him in the final hour. Adam hit twitter to clear up any beef rumors though saying: NO beef between @ddlovato and @nickjonas and me. Biz negotiations are complex – why do we care about the Rumors. And Demi only responded saying “I love you @adamlambert.” So it sounds like all is good in the world – actually better than good because Demi and Nick are going on tour togheter!
