Demi Lovato & Nick Jonas Pay Tribute to Orlando & Surprise Pulse Nightclub Workers

Nick Jonas and Demi Lovato welcomed a very special guest onstage during their Future Now stop in Florida to honor the victims of the recent violent attacks in Orlando
Nick & Demi showed the audience at their Orlando performance that, even through the most difficult times, we can all stand together and Rise Up.
Nick Jonas and Demi Lovato’s collaborative Future Now tour is in full swing, and the duo made their latest stop in Orlando, Florida. After the horrific violent events that the city of Orlando has experienced recently, Demi and Nick decided to do something special. The pair invited dozens of employees from the Pulse Nightclub, that was attacked last month, to their concert for free, providing a suite for them to enjoy the show. The employees were also all invited to meet both Demi and Nick before their show. While the Pulse employees of thousands of other concert-goers danced along in the crowd, they were treated to another very special surprise.
Demi stopped the show to first welcome a man named Hank who led the entire venue in prayer. Hank’s words filled the room and the audience cheered as he stated quote “as we pray together, we will heal together.” Check it out.
As Hank helped spread the love, Demi and Nick were getting ready for their biggest surprise of the night. The duo welcomed singer Andra Day onstage and all together, they performed Andra’s hit, Rise Up, as names of each life lost during the club massacre appeared on the screen behind them. Singer Christina Grimmie who was murdered by a fan in Orlando the very same weekend as the Pulse Nightclub shooting was also honored during the tribute.
