Nick J had the honor of presenting an award to his BFF Demi over the weekend and she thanked him in the best way possible.
Leave it to Demi to start off her acceptance speech with a jab at her BFF. Shortly after Nick gave a tear jerking speech and presented Demi with the Vanguard Award, an award that is usually given to media professionals who’ve made a significant difference in promoting equality and acceptance, Demi decided to repay her bestie with a somewhat unconventional shout out at the beginning of her speech.
What are BFFs for, right? But all jokes aside, Demi actually gave Nick a proper thank you on Instagram later after the award ceremony and wrote QUOTE, “Last night I was given the Vanguard award from GLAAD and one of my best friends presented it to me with words that totally made me cry.. That friend is my brother @nickjonas and I’m so thankful for our friendship. Love you and thanks for last night.”
Ugh, those two are serious BFF goals. And of course, Demi’s speech wasn’t complete without a sweet shout out to her longtime boyfriend, Wilmer Valderrama.
