Delhi has a remarkable food culture. Heritage restaurants and street stalls dating back hundreds of years still survive and thrive and the food culture holds strong to tradition and history. In this video we take you on a massive Indian street food tour around different parts of the city. We visit a popular neighbourhood chaat shop for their house speciality ballah papdi, venture into Old Delhi to sample pakodas from another local favourite and then it's off to Jama Masjid for some late night eats. We devour fried chicken from a popular street side restaurant and sample a winter dessert called shahi tukda- India's answer to bread and butter pudding. 4. Shahi Tukda at Cool Point, 972 Main market, Jama Masjid Rd, Bazar Matia Mahal, Kalan Mehal, Chandni Chowk, New Delhi, Delhi 110006, India. Open daily 12:00pm to 1:00am.
