Third times a charm for Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper -- and this time around Jennifer Lawrence is taking on a retro look straight from the 1930's. After a few years of buzz, the J-Law/Bradley Cooper headlined film "Serena" is just about ready for an audience. The depression era film marks number three for the pair, and they actually shot this movie between Silver Linings Playbook and American Hustle. The movie follows Jenn and Bradley's characters that are described as ill-fated newlyweds, and is based on Ron Rash's book by the same name about a North Carolina timber baron and his ambitious wife. Jennifer takes on the role of Serena, and Bradley plays her husband George Pemberton. And since there aren't many details about this movie as of now, we're just going to focus in on the incredible period costumes and styling in the film -- Jennifer is sporting a great platinum blonde bob and dare I say it, but is Bradley Cooper rocking a pair of jodhpurs with his riding boots? We also see a photo of Jennifer looking statuesque on a horse, and then a few other couple photos, one of which features a sweet moment between the married couple in bed. But don't any bright ideas, because if the movie follows the book, this story is pretty dark at times. The business success of the couple gets overshadowed by Serena's inability to have a baby, and this leads her to want to destroy, and kill her husband George's illegitimate son. So not exactly what we'd call a rom-com, but based on the cast and the costumes, we're already dying to see the movie. What do you all think of the new photos making waves online today?
