X-Men: Dark Phoenix FIRST LOOK Photos & Jennifer Lawrence Explains Her Return

Check out the first look of Jennifer Lawrence and Sophie Turner in the new X-Men: Dark Phoenix movie.
Just when you thought it couldn't get any hotter.. or blue-er… think again!
Entertainment Weekly just released their magazine cover hitting shelves tomorrow and it’s on fire, literal-ly. Game Of Thrones actress Sophie Turner is returning as the young Jean Grey in the upcoming movie. The cover shows her bare skin and in flames with her arms crossed hiding her chest. In the movie, we can expect a new force that awakens in Jean when a solar flare hits the X-Jet during a rescue mission. The surge of energy replaces the girl we know and love with the Phoenix making her hero and a villain.
We also got some funny details and a first look at Jennifer Lawrence. She will be returning to the franchise as Mystique. Though she was excited to return to her character she was not excited about the blue paint. She says quote,“I kind of f—ed myself,Because when I was trying to talk Simon into directing, he said something like, ‘If I direct it, you have to do it,’ and I was like, ‘Of course! Duh!’ Then they offered me the movie, and I was like, ‘Goddammit!’”
Of course she was partially joking and adds she also wanted to return because of the amazing fanbase the franchise has.
