The 2015 AMA host Jennifer Lopez kicked off the star-studded evening doing what she does best and shakin’ that BOOTY, and we’re bringing you all the details right here on Clevver’s Trophy Life.

But before she got to shakin’ her money maker all over the stage, she made sure that the audience knew the night was NOT about her… you know, in usual selfless JLo fashion.
So I hate to break it to you, JLo, but all eyes were on YOU and only you (ok, maybe a few other things) during tonight’s opening performance... like this, for instance:
I’m gonna go ahead and say that I DON’T think we’re in The Bronx anymore… In what was hands down one of the most memorable opening acts in AMA history, JLo began by singing a slowed-down sultry version of her hit, “Waiting For Tonight” donning in a tribal leotard with her back-up dancers decked out in what appeared to be a scene out of Lion King the musical.
However, she wasted no time in picking things up and bustin’ her famous moves to a medley of many of this year’s AMA-nominated tracks, and trust me, you’re gonna wanna see this:
A few other of the songs included in the opening act were Drake’s “Hotline Bling”, Ed Sheeran’s “Thinking Out Loud” and RiRi’s “Bitch Better Have My Money” and many audience-goers, grooved right along with Jlo, including Justin Bieber who did the robot when his hit “Where Are U Now” began playing.
