James might’ve fallen, tumbled and rapped his way into the Grammy’s, but you didn’t think he’d leave us hanging without a little Carpool Karaoke did you now?
If at all possible, James Corden may have just outdone, well, James Corden in what is sure to go down as the BEST Carpool Karaoke to date. In between performances, James maneuvered through the aisle in a giant cardboard car, because where else could possibly be a better place than The Grammys to find the world’s greatest singers willing to ride shotgun while belting out their biggest hits?
James’ first victim was Carpool Karaoke alumn Jennifer Lopez, when shortly after, the two were accompanied by a full carload of music’s biggest names like John Legend, Keith Urban, Faith Hill and even Neil Diamond. So if you’re familiar with Neil Diamond, or even if you aren’t, you’ll definitely be familiar with the karaoke song of choice…
Sweet Caroline indeed… BUT, about halfway through the chorus, viewers and Grammy-goers alike were suddenly struck with a heavy dose of greatness and resurrected back to life after James and his caravan crew were greeted by none other than the youngest ever shotgun rider and reigning queen-in-training, Blue. Ivy. Carter.
Ahh, I can just smell the Blue Ivy Grammy sweep that’s about to go down in about T-minus 20 years. So now that Blue Ivy Carter has officially made her Carpool Karaoke debut, this means Beyoncé is up next right?
