James is constantly picking up his famous friends to help him get through a super boring commute, but it looks like he ran into some car trouble and needed this chica to give him a ride.
So, who showed up to give James a lift to work? Well, it was none other than Selena Gomez aka the next celebrity guest on Carpool Karaoke! The Late Late Show host kinda sorta hinted at the news by sharing a picture of himself and Selenas sitting in the car with the caption QUOTE, “Getting a lift to work with this little chaffinch today! This is my 1st Instagram post!!!”
Well, okay, James technically didn’t say that Selena was his next guest on the popular segment, but his caption pretty much said it all. Obviously the dynamics of Carpool Karaoke will be a little different since Selena is pictured in the driver’s seat, but if you’re still skeptical about her appearing on the show, E! News actually confirmed that the songstress will be James’ next Carpool Karaoke guest and that the segment will eventually air in June.
Even though it’ll be a few months before we actually see the finished product, I have a feeling Selena’s jam sesh in the car with James is probably going like, Adele status, mainly because she can spit a Nicki Minaj verse or two.
