Lady Gaga was an obvious choice for James Corden’s Carpool Karaoke as the singer has killer pipes AND just dropped her new album Joanne. In the teaser released video today, James and Gaga start off with some road rage, courtesy of Ludacris.
Yes, they’re singing Ludacris’ “Move Bitch Get Out Da Way” song which seems to have been an impromptu choice. In the teaser we also get a look at Gaga and James singing “Bad Romance”, choreography and all.
When James asks Gaga what went through her mind when she got the call about headlining the Super Bowl next year- Gaga insists they recreate the phone call right there. James prompts Gaga, “...It’s Dave from the NFL. What are you doing early next year?” to which Gaga replies, “Oh my gosh, are you giving me the Super Bowl?” In Gaga’s eyes the Super Bowl honor is something that is GIVEN and therefore not turned down.
