James Corden Gets NEW Carpool Karaoke Primetime Special

James Corden’s widely popular Carpool Karaoke segment is getting revamped for primetime TV for an all-new hour-long telecast, so get those vocal chords ready for double the fun!
What could possibly be better than 15 minutes of nonstop laughs and hit after hit of the biggest musicians in the world? OH yeah, that’s right – A FULL HOUR of it.
Big things are in store for James Corden this year as it was just announced that his infamous “Carpool Karaoke” series will be the subject of a second primetime special set to air next month.
Along with brand new guests added to the ‘Karaoke’ lineup, the hour-long telecast, set to air on CBS, will also feature new segments of Corden’s famous ‘Toddlerography’, as well as highlights from his favorite ‘Late Late Show’ clips. Featured guests have not yet been announced, but will be revealed closer to the airdate.
James is set to host the special, which comes roughly a year after the first Carpool Karaoke Primetime Special that featured Jennifer Lopez, and even won an Emmy for outstanding variety special. This edition also comes as Apple Music, prepares to launch another ‘Karaoke’ series that will feature a revolving group of guest hosts in place of Corden.
But the fun doesn’t stop there; James has also tacked on another segment to the mix, his hit series, “Drop the Mic”, which is set to receive its own series on TBS later this year, so be sure to stay tuned. But if you’re dying to see more of this:
