Chris Martin Hitches A Ride To Super Bowl In NEW Carpool Karaoke With James Corden

We were all in complete AWE when Adele took shotgun during James’ last karaoke sesh, but Chris and James’ “adventure of a lifetime” has just set the bar to an all-time high.
It was a nice peaceful day off in LA for James Corden as he decided to step out and take a drive, when he suddenly came across a bit of a problem…
James agreed to take a road trip with Chris up to San Francisco in order to get him to the Super Bowl, and this only marks the beginning, folks. The two quickly bonded as they cranked up the tunes and ironically kicked off the road trip with Coldplay’s hit, “Adventure of a Lifetime.” They then started chatting about, American Football, as the UK likes to call it, when Chris attempted to explain the rules of the game to James…
We’re gonna need an NFL playbook STAT and preferably BEFORE this Sunday… But back to what Chris Martin DOES know how to do… belt those epic throwback tunes, like Coldplay’s year 2000 hit “Yellow.” Take a look:
And we all know that a road trip would NOT be complete without some of our favorite munchies, so the lads took a quick pit stop to pick up some Rolos anddddd these epic San Francisco beanies that made their debut while singing Coldplay’s newest hit “Hymn For The Weekend”…
The two also took on more of Coldplay’s hits, including “Viva La Vida” and “Paradise”, and Chris even whipped out a keyboard. Chris then revealed the James that he loves the one-name singers, like Adele and Beyonce, saying, “I think if you say ‘The Cold’, no one’s thinking Coldplay yet, so that means we’ve got a ways to go.”
And speaking of having “a ways to go” the boys took another pit stop at a lemonade stand just before putting their road trip on pause when they cozied up for the night… while cuddling… in the same bed… at a motel.
They woke up the next morning to find that their carpool caravan had been stolen, leaving them with only one option: A tandem bicycle.
So we can only hope that Chris and James made it safely to the Super Bowl, but we’re just going to have to wait until Sunday to find out for sure.
