Justin Bieber canceled his shceduled appearance in the UK and British Beliebers aren’t as forgiving as he had hoped…
The fandom has officially spoken, tweeted, memed amidst Justin’s announcement of the cancellation, and they’ve got a major bone to pick with the Biebs…
Justin announced just yesterday via Twitter that he had to cancel a scheduled appearance at England’s Fusion Festival on August 28, which would’ve been his first appearance in the UK in two years.
He tweeted saying QUOTE, “To all my UK beliebers… Due to an unforeseen issue I will be unable to perform at the Fusion Festival on August 28th. I support the Prince’s Trust wholeheartedly and am deeply disappointed I won’t be able to perform. I look forward to the opportunity to give my UK beliebers a great show in the near future, and hope to honor my commitment to Trust at this time.”
Buuuut this news did not sit well with the Bieber fandom, even after promising he’s going to make this up to them. Some angry fans tweeted back threatening messages claiming Justin has ruined their summer and that they will unfollow him.
One user even wrote, “WHO THE ACTUAL F*CK YOU THINK YOU ARE TO MAKE PEOPLE PAY TO SEE YOU AND CANCEL IT 24 DAYS BEFORE??? F*CK OFF DUDE.” Another heartbroken user wrote, “I actually wanna rip your heart out so you feel the pain I feel right now. everyone unfollow him to teach him a lesson.”
Yeah, not exactly the response JB had hoped for… But although the cancellation came as a surprise to fans, Justin knew what he was getting himself into as he wrote shortly after, “And now the UK press will start to tear me apart. Comes with the job. Love u guys regardless and I will make this up to you.”
And we’re still not exactly sure what the actual reason for the cancellation was, but Justin’s last attempt at calming fans down came shortly after the storm passed as he tweeted he was busy making music and that there might even be an album name coming very soon.
See, he’s always got his fans best interests at heart… even after they threaten him with the “UNFOLLOW.” So let’s all take a deep breath and once we’re calm again, let me know what you think about his cancellation and if you think his fans were too hard on him.
