Justin Bieber versus James Dean -- who wins your heart?! Wow, what a serious comparison. JB just compared himself to the Hollywood legend on Instagram, and it's causing quite a stir on the internet. So over the weekend, the 20-year-old singer posted a photo of himself wearing a plain white t-shirt with a cigarette hanging out of his mouth, which is clearly a nod to the iconic actor James Dean. The photo's caption read: "'This is James Dean inspired. Don't ask me if I smoke ciggys cuz I don't.' He then posted the actual photo inspiration of Dean, being sure to add a crown emoji with the post. I think that he's saying James Dean was king -- speaking to the fact that he was HUGE HUGE celebrity in his day, before he tragically died in a car crash at the age of 24. But as far as the controversy goes, Justin's comparison isn't being taken lightly -- especially considering all the trouble JB has gotten into recently. In fact, some people claimed that comparing himself to Dean was a straight up insult. Twitter user alicesayles said:

"ugh justin bieber trying to recreate the look of james dean... what an insult to his memory"
While another Twitter user -- Tiny Lou Berry -- echoed that sentiment by saying:

"just blocked someone for saying justin bieber reminded them of James Dean. Please never insult James Dean ever again."
And we even noticed that a user who actually has belieber 4 ever in her Instagram name posted that she unfollowed him along with some other choice words about JB dying... yeah, so even Beliebers are upset about this set of JB posts.
