We’re happy to report that Kanye West has renewed his enthusiasm for social media this week. Kanye took to IG yesterday to post 4 candid videos where he expresses his feelings about speculation that Drake slept with his wife, Kim.
Yeezy continues talking directly to Drake and brings up a perfect analogy saying QUOTE, “You know, if I had a girlfriend from Chicago, her name was Renita, and you was married to Rihanna, I wouldn’t make no song called Riri. So when you’re like, ‘Ahhh I don’t know where it come from,’ you too smart for that bro.” Kanye is of course referring to Drake’s “In My Feelings” song that references a girl named “Kiki”- which is Kim’s nickname. Kanye is clearly confident that the rumors are untrue and asserts that Drake used Kim’s nickname to probe at a cheating scandal that never happened. Kanye goes on to suggest that no one should make records with lyrics that can be confused. This led Kanye to his next topic- the controversial song Pusha T released about Drake fathering a child.
Kanye admits he reached out personally to Travis to make sure they were all good because they’re family. Kanye also came for Nick Cannon, who spread rumors in an interview that Kim HAD hooked up with Drake. Kanye’s message to Nick was simple saying QUOTE, “I understand that you used to date my wife, but you know, you get into an interview, don’t mention my wife. If someone brings my wife up, say ‘I respect that man, I’m not speaking on that.’” Kanye ended his fourth video with the same sentiment for Tyson Beckford. We gotta say- Kanye’s confessionals are kinda endearing. He’s very calm and makes some good points. Ye’s ultimate request is simple- don’t talk about his wife or his family. But seeing as they’re one of the most famous families in the world that’s going to be a little difficult.
