Kanye West Pens Sweetest Message To His Late Mother On Her 67th Birthday

It’s always comes as a shock to see a side of Kanye that isn’t boasting about his music or asking Mark Zuckerberg for money, but I gotta admit… I’m really liking this Kanye.
Nearly a decade has passed since Kanye West’s mother Donda West tragically passed away a day after undergoing a cosmetic surgery procedure, but not a day goes by that Kanye doesn’t think about her, especially on her birthday.
Last night on the day that Donda would’ve turned 67, Kanye penned the sweetest message to his mom via Twitter, posting an old photo of the two from many years back, also including the caption QUOTE, “NORI ASKED IF THE AIRPLANE COULD TAKE HER TO HEAVEN TO SEE YOU FOR YOUR BIRTHDAY, I LOVE YOU MOM”.
Besides dedicating a Twitter post to her, Kanye has done his best to commemorate his late mother throughout his career, honoring her in his 2015 hit with Sir Paul McCartney, “Only One”, along with a video game called, Only One: The Game, which shows Donda riding a white Pegasus into the gates of heaven, and selling T-Shirts as part of his Yeezy Season 3 collection with her face on them, with the words, “In loving memory.”
Kim Kardashian West also paid tribute to her mother-in-law as she retweeted a fan montage of Kanye and Donda together set to his 2005 track “Hey Mama”. Kanye doesn’t often discuss his mother’s incident surrounding her sudden death in many interviews, but did open up to the UK’s Q Magazine in 2015, saying, “If I had never moved to L.A. she'd be alive. I don't want to go far into it because it will bring me to tears.”
