Kanye west slams Beyonce and Jay Z about Kim K’s robbery in his latest concert rant..
It wouldn’t be a Kanye show without an impassioned rant from the rapper, but this time his targets were some of his closest friends...
Kanye went OFF at his show in Seattle last night, slamming his good friend and sometimes collaborator Jay Z of all people. At first the rant was about the so-called "streaming wars" he’s had to endure thanks to his and Jay's affiliation with Tidal, with YAY even complaining about how his Tidal deal was affecting his ability to collab with Drake, who has a deal with rival streaming service,
Apple-Music.
But his rant quickly turned from professional to personal when Kanye got upset about how Jay Z hadn’t come to see him and Kim after her Paris robbery. He said that Jay had only called to see how they were doing, complaining to the crowd QUOTE, “Don’t call me, after the robbery, and say ‘How you feelin’?’ You wanna know how I’m feeling? Come by the house...Bring the kids by the house, like we’re brothers.”
Later in the rant Kanye also commented that his daughter, North, and Beyonce and Jay Z’s daughter, Blue Ivy, have QUOTE, “never even played together.” That’s pretty surprising considering the girls are so close in age AND that Kanye and Jay have been such close friends and collaborators over the years. But maybe we should give Jay the benefit of the doubt on this one, because there could be a number of reasons why their kids haven’t had a play date...like, maybe it’s because their super famous parents have crazy schedules? Or maybe it’s because Kim and Beyonce aren’t exactly the best of friends? Whatever the reason, we really hope Yay and Jay can work this out and spend some quality time together like the good ol’ days. In the meantime we’ll all be sitting over here and holding out hope for that ‘Watch the Throne 2’ album...
