Forbes’ annual Top 100 Highest Pair Celebrities list is here and Katy Perry and One Direction hold down third and fourth place.
Thanks to their very successful world tours, Katy Perry and One Direction have racked in MILLIONS this year. Can you guess who came out on top?
Katy Perry! Thanks in large part to her Prismatic Tour, Katy earned 135 million dollars this year placing her in third place with One Direction coming in fourth with 130 million. Must be nice.
Katy rocks the cover this year in a dollar sign blazer which she celebrated on Instagram yesterday saying QUOTE –“ Before accepting the offer to be on the cover of Forbes, I was told that a lot of women have previously shied away from doing it. I wondered if it was because they thought socially it would look like they were flaunting or bragging or it wasn't a humble decision. Ladies, there is a difference between being humble and working hard to see the fruits of your labor blossom, and your dreams realized. Hopefully this cover can be an inspiration to women out there that it's okay to be proud of hard earned success and that there is no shame in being a boss.”
Amen to that. She also added that she celebrated her big accomplishment by getting her crunch wrap supreme from Taco Bell. Gotta love Katy.
Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao took the top two spots with Mayweather leading the pack at number 1 earning 300 million this year with Pacquiao in second with 160 million.
Taylor Swift came in at number 9 with 80 million and was also recognized as part of the highest paid celebrity couple this year with Calvin Harris with combined incomes at 146 million. Do you know how many more blow up swans they can buy making that kind of money? Blow up swans for days.
Queen B came in 29th place earning 54.5 million, which is still a crazy amount of money judging from the fact that she didn’t tour this year or release a new album. Let’s be real, Beyonce gets paid for simply being.
Kim Kardashian also made the list this year coming in in 33rd place with 52.5 million.
