It was a sexy and beaded sort of night at the Grammys for Nicki Minaj and Kim Kardashian. We’ve got their style recaps up next.

You guys are back at Trophy Life. Our crazy non-stop coverage of award show season – and right now it’s all about the Grammys. So first it’s pretty clear that both of these gals were on the beaded and drop neckline train for the night. They’ve both got their poses down to a tee. But Nicki went for an all back look – which was very trendy for the 2015 show. The Tom Ford gown featured a cool mix of textures, especially in the skirted fringe area. The movement was uber cool. She loaded up on diamonds – from rings to bangles and stud earrings. Her makeup is fabulously flawless per the usual. Look at that liner. Love it.

And Kim K’s face of makeup is also flawless – she’s got her “go to” highlight in the inner corners of her eyes for the pop. Her gown is almost a robe form – the way it links together at the waist and features that low cut and high slit. It’s by John Paul Gautier and is definitely a statement. It looks pretty darn heavy with all of the detailed beading and I cannot forget to mention that Kim is rocking a new hairstyle. She revealed the new do on her Instagram the other day and I think it’s a great change up for the star.

Personally, I’m actually liking both of these looks because both Kim and Nicki look so unique… they’re dressed in styles that we haven’t really seen on the carpets lately and shouldn’t fashion be fun at the end of the day??
