This season on Keeping up With the Kardashians, we learned that Kimmy was embracing her musical calling (yet again) by taking up piano lessons, but this wouldn’t be Kim’s first attempt at breaking into the music biz if you remember that one time she released a single? No? That might be a good thing… But rumor has it that we may be getting an even bigger, better hit from the reality star as she is in talks of collaborating with none other than her husband, Kanye West!
A US Music Insider told The Sun that the collab is definitely happening and that QUOTE, “Kanye plans to release the song just after Kim has their second child.”
However, before you get too excited, Kim’s reps have denied any rumors about a Kimye duet, saying that it’s simply “false.” But hey, a girl can dream, right? After all, the two have worked together before when Kim was featured in Kanye’s ‘Bound 2’ music video, and Kanye styled his wifey in her nearly nude photo shoot for System Magazine earlier this year.
As for getting in the studio to explore her singing abilities again? Sounds unlikely. In her interview with Andy Cohen last year on Watch What Happens Live, Kim had said QUOTE ‘I don’t like it when people kind of dabble into things they shouldn’t be. And that I don’t think I should have, like, what gave me the right to think I could be a singer? Like, I don’t have a good voice.’
She does, however, love taking piano lessons, and according to TMZ, Kim has been QUOTE, “laser focused on her lessons.” Talk about dedication. TMZ report also stated that her piano teacher has even invited her to play publicly next year in a recital, and that Kim QUOTE “already has a special song planned for her family.”
So perhaps a duet is far-fetched, but a recital does seem likely. Between all the music, Kim is also getting ready to have her and Kanye’s second child. Busy, busy girl.
