The Malaysian Human Rights Commission (Suhakam) inquiry into the disappearance of Pastor Raymond Koh was suspended today.
The Inquiry panel chairperson Mah Kweng Wai made the decision after receiving a letter from Inspector-General of Police Ahmad Fuzi Harun notifying the inquiry that the police have charged 31-year-old Lam Chang Nam with the kidnapping.
Lam was previously charged in March last year for attempting to extort RM30,000 from the Koh family who was told that he could secure Pastor Koh's release.
