[KiniNews] Kepong MP Lim Lip Eng has hit back at PAS deputy president Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man, accusing the party of using racial scare tactics over the proposed Urban Renewal Act (URA).

He dismissed claims that the URA is a scheme to displace Malays and Indians, stressing that original homeowners—regardless of race—are prioritised and offered better housing in the same location.

Yesterday Tuan Ibrahim claimed that the amendments were aimed at establishing local council polls, which would ultimately be dominated by a single ethnic group.
