#KiniNews: Muhyiddin's son-in-law denies being on the run; Just come back, says Azam

[KiniNews] Perikatan Nasional chairperson Muhyiddin Yassin’s son-in-law has denied that he is a fugitive and promised to return to Malaysia if there are no elements of “threats and persecution”.

In a press statement issued through his lawyer Baljit Singh Sidhu this afternoon, Muhammad Adlan Berhan said he left the country legally for business.

In response to this, MACC chief commissioner Azam Baki said Adlan should just come back and not give so many excuses.

Azam also reminded Adlan's lawyer, Baljit Singh Sidhu, that he has a duty as a legal professional to assist MACC in its investigation.

Earlier today, Azam said the MACC is considering seeking the assistance of Interpol to track down Adlan.
