#KiniNews: Political leaders agree to stop ‘old politics’, Muhyiddin open to returning

[KiniNews] The Yang di Pertuan Agong has urged politicians to unite against Covid-19 and forge "new politics", said PKR president Anwar Ibrahim.

Speaking after a meeting between the king and leaders from political parties, Anwar said all those in attendance also had a consensus to stop "old politics".

Meanwhile, Muhyiddin Yassin may have resigned as the prime minister but he is far from planning his political retirement.

Speaking to editors of the mainstream media after tendering his resignation yesterday, Muhyiddin was asked about his thoughts on the possibility of being reappointed as the prime minister.

"Well, let's see," he said. Malaysiakini obtained a recording of the meeting.
