[KiniNews] Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Law and Institutional Reform) Azalina Othman Said believes there shouldn’t be a gag order on Najib Abdul Razak’s royal pardon judicial review.
She said this in response to the Attorney-General’s Chambers (AGC) move to seek a gag order over the matter yesterday.
Azalina said in her personal opinion, there shouldn’t be a gag order as the matter is already in the public domain and Parliament is going to sit next month, so it will be raised again.
While opposing the gag order, the Pengerang MP acknowledged that the AGC might have its legal reasons.
Meanwhile, in a separate story, Umno Youth leader Dr Muhamad Akmal Saleh and DAP Youth chief Woo Kah Leong have engaged in a heated exchange over the controversy surrounding a ham and cheese sandwich.
In their comments on the matter, the two also suggested alternative career paths for each other.
