[KiniNews] Bersatu information chief Wan Saiful Wan Jan expressed regret over the two charges of soliciting and accepting RM6.9 million in bribes against him, saying the charges should not have been filed.

Commenting further, Wan Saiful, 48, said he regretted the government's actions, which he deemed to be selective prosecution aimed at diverting attention from the failure of the unity government.

Meanwhile, Bersatu president Muhyiddin Yassin expressed his regret and sadness, saying “selective prosecution” is being carried out against the party leadership.
