Kylie Jenner Claims She "Started Wigs" In Marie Claire Interview

Despite what others may think, Kylie is pretty much responsible for making a lot of things trendy or popular, but I don’t think anyone can give her credit for starting the wig trend.
If you’re asking yourself, ‘Sarah, why would someone even give Kylie credit for making wigs popular?’ Well, that’s the thing, the only person who would give Kylie that credit is Kylizzle herself.
The lip kit queen was asked about her ability to influence others in Marie Claire’s ‘Fresh Face’ issue and she responded with QUOTE, “I started wigs, and now everyone is wearing wigs. Kim [Kardashian] just used my wig guy last night…I just do whatever I want to do, and people will follow.”
Yeah, you heard me correctly. Eighteen year old Kylie Jenner told Marie Claire that she “started” wigs and that everyone is wearing them because of her. This is one reality star that desperately needs a reality check because wigs have been worn for decades. Literally, people have been wearing them since the beginning of the time and unless Kylie is a time traveler or a vampire, girlfriend did not start that trend.
Sorry, Kyles. I’ll give you credit for making lip kits and over lining your lips super popular, but definitely not wigs. Aside from appearing on Marie Claire’s ‘Fresh Face’ issue, the reality star also graced the cover of Adweek for their Millennial issue and opened up about whether or not the negative comments she receives on the daily through social media affect her at all.
Kylie said, “Honestly, I feel like at this point I’ve gotten so numb to it. I still do my thing and people still love me…It doesn’t really affect me.” I think it’s safe to say that if she did let the comments affect her, Kylie wouldn’t be who she is today.
