Kylie Jenner & Lizzo Among A-List Celebrities Nominated For Streamy Awards!

We all know that the Streamy Awards are meant to recognize excellence in the online world, but what you might not know is that a lot of mainstream celebs are actually nominated this year too.What’s up? It’s Sussan Mourad here with Clevver News and we are so excited for the Streamy Awards this Friday.This year’s awards will be interesting because they are going host-less for the first time, Kim Petras will be performing, and so many of our favorite creators are nominated.Like hello, we see you, Shane Dawson, Jeffree Star, Bretman Rock, David Dobrik, Jada Pinkett Smith, Emma Chamberlain, Tana Mongeau, and so (clap) many (clap) more (clap).But not only are our favorite Internet celebs are nominated, some A-Listers can add another honor to their resumes as Streamy Award nominees.Here are some of our faves -- Lizzo, Lil Nas X, Kylie Jenner, Naomi Campbell, Gordon Ramsay, and 21 Savage.Oh also Paris Hilton will be there to introduce Kim Petras and Derek Hough who is also a presenter. They are not nominated but hey, Paris and Derek will be in the building. We always talk about how excited we are to see our favorite influencers at mainstream events like the Met Gala or award shows, and its also exciting to see mainstream celebs at internet focused events.We’re getting to the place where it’s all going to just be one! So, let’s start with Lizzo and Lil Nas X who are both first time nominees in the music category at the STREAMYs.They are nominated for breakthrough artist and they are both super qualified given the year they’ve both had. Lil Nas X actually ended up winning this award at the Streamy’s premiere awards and we are super excited for him! And we sure hope they both attend the event because we gotta see these two on the red carpet, they both ALWAYS bring their A game … case in point!Another A-list celeb nominated is Kylie Jenner who might already be a billionaire, reality TV star, and makeup mogul but now she can add Streamy nominee to her resume.She is nominated for a Streamy Award for her collaboration with David Dobrik -- who by the way has the most nominations this year with 11.Kylie and David are nominated for best collab for his video called “SURPRISING PEOPLE WITH KYLIE JENNER!!”And this video got almost 22 million views, so I have a good feeling about them winning.It was epic! I’m probably at least 7 million of the 22 million views, because I’ve watched it so many times.Iconic supermodel Naomi Campbell is also nominated in the collaboration category for her collab with Patrick Starr. Patrick uploaded his video titled “NAOMI CAMPBELL MAKEUP TUTORIAL” and it has close to a million views.These two had natural chemistry and seemed like life long friends right off the bat.21 Savage is nominated in one of our favorite categories, which is... the social good category.Because who doesn’t love when celebs give back? He’s nominated as a creator for his Leading by Example Foundation and Get Schooled campaign.With this campaign he gave 21 teens $1,000 to start their own bank accounts and learn how to manage their money with his money saving tips. And it seems like he helped a lot of people.So I hope he wins this one! Even though really everyone in that category is already a winner. Obviously we can’t talk about everyone but these were just some of our faves A-Listers getting recognition for their imprint on digital.So I want to know what you guys think.
