The final movie in the “To All the Boys I've Loved Before” series has officially finished filming, and Lana Condor and the rest of the world are NOT ready to let go of her character Lara Jean.
What’s up? It’s Emile Ennis Jr. here with Clevver News and Lana Condor just made all of us cry with her latest Instagram post. She made us feel all the feels with her emotional goodbye to her career-making role as Lara Jean Covey in “To All the Boys I've Loved Before.”
And in case you’re confused, like I was when I first saw the post because To All The Boys two hasn’t even come out yet…They shot To All The Boys two and three back to back and To All The Boys two comes out in February of next year and the third will likely come out in 2021.
So while we won’t have to say goodbye to Lara Jean for a couple years, Lana just said her farewell to playing the character. And maybe grab some tissues because this post is super emotional.
She posted this pic from set and wrote quote, “Always and Forever, Lara Jean. It’s been 16 days since the To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before franchise wrapped shooting movies 2 & 3. I’ve been really struggling how to put into words my feelings towards this ending... words will never be able to describe my love for Lara Jean.”
She continued on and said quote, “Words will never be able to describe the long nights on set, where it would suddenly hit me, like a ton of bricks, that I was getting the honor of portraying a girl so fiercely determined in love, who represents strength in softness. Words will never be able to describe my gratitude to YOU, for loving her as much as I do. For tying your hair up in a scrunchie and saying “let’s do this.””
And she ended the post with a sweet and simple quote, “Thank you from the very bottom of my heart, you’ve made me feel like the luckiest girl alive. Always & Forever, your Lara Jean.”
And seeing Lana's post definitely confirms that the To All The Boys journey is coming to an end.
Which even though I already knew, is still sad. I need Lara Jean and Peter in my lives forever!
And her celeb friends and co-stars agree. Her on screen sister, Janel Parrish wrote quote, “An angel on screen and in life. Lucky to be your big sissy ❤️”
And her other co-star Madeleine Arthur said quote, “our portrayal of Lara Jean in two and three is truly stunning. You are the best role model on and off screen. You are a star human. ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨”
And fans on Twitter are equally emotional and just can’t wait to see the 2nd movie. One person said quote, “I’m crying after reading this capt. The only fictional character that i totally relate, is Lara Jean. I love you @lanacondor please remember that you’ll always be our Lara Jean.
