Lana Condor and Noah Centineo just released the premiere date for the To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before sequel, along with some major (and I mean MAJOR) news for the franchise.
What’s up guys and happy Friday, it’s Erin Robinson back here on Clevver News, and our wish was apparently Netflix’s command because boy did they just drop a whole lotta good news. We fell in love with Lana Condor and Noah Centineo on AND off screen, and come February, our hearts will once again be full.
The dynamic duo, along with franchise newcomer Jordan Fisher, announced the movie’s release date on Netflix’s Instagram page just yesterday with the cutest little teaser.
Netflix shared the happy news, giving off major ‘Love Actually’ vibes while the three costars held cards that read, “Hey, it's me, Lana. You guys have been so supportive and loving and patient. So let's just say, our movie is coming soon! What, you want more? To All The Boys: P.S. I Still Love You premieres February 12.”
Start hitting up last year’s crush, swiping right, whatever you gotta do because your Valentine’s Day has officially been booked. BUT, that’s not even the best part you guys, soooo I might as well let Noah and Lana give you the 4-1-1 this time…
So let me get this straight -- we’re not only gifted with a To All The Boys sequel, but a TRIQUEL/TRIFECTA/TRIPLE THREAT/CALL IT WHAT YOU WILL, but it’s happening, which also means even MORE Lara Jean and Peter Kavinski gettin’ all cute and mushy on us.
But clearly they’re giving us a glimpse into the adorableness, as Lana teased a video on her Instagram story (yeah, ANOTHER video, but can you blame them?
K, CAN Y’ALL DATE NOW ORRRR… while I wait for that magic to happen, lemme give you a little rundown of the sequel.
To All The Boys 2 is set to include even more romance (because DUH), but this time in the form of a rival love for Lara (LAURA) Jean’s heart, so Peter, you better whip out ALL the stops.
Jordan Fisher will play John Ambrose McClaren, another victim of the unfortunate love letter distribution, so things are about to get messy.
In the books, however, John Ambrose isn’t just a romantic interest for Lara (LAURA) Jean, but also a former friend of Peter’s. I can already feel the tension rising, BUT if anyone is to be up for the task, Jordan will undoubtedly deliver.
Ok so lots of exciting news and just a few short months away… in the meantime, if you need me, I’ll be in a rabbithole of Lana and Noah videos. So be sure to share all your thoughts and excitement on all this news down here in the comments.
