First it was Harry Styles, then it was Niall Horan, and now it looks like Liam Payne is set to be the next member of One Direction to release his debut solo album. Any fan who has been keeping track of what every single member of 1D has been up to after their indefinite hiatus started at the end of 2015 knows that Liam’s solo album has been a long time coming.
Ever since he released his debut solo SINGLE back in May of 2017, we’ve all been wondering just when Liam will release his first solo album. Well, wonder no more folks because we finally have an album release date!
Liam talked about his upcoming debut album on Good Morning America and he said – actually, we’ll just let him tell you the good news.
While Liam didn’t share an album title or any other details when he talked about his forthcoming album, Liam did also say QUOTE, “I’ve got a good mix of beautiful people on my album, which is amazing.”
So, now that we’ve gotten some details on Liam’s album out of the way we just have one question: Louis, where you at?!
Anyway, aside from talking to GMA about his upcoming album, Liam chatted with KISS FM a few days ago for their ‘Where’s Your Head At?’ campaign – a movement that is working towards breaking the stigma attached to talking about mental health and making it a legal requirement for every work place or college in the UK to have a mental health first aider – and revealed something totally surprising about his mind set during his One Direction days.
Liam actually admitted that he struggled so badly when trying to deal with the fame in 1D that it almost killed him. He said QUOTE, “When the band started our break I struggled with the idea of becoming famous again, it scared the living daylights out of me. Because the last time it nearly killed me, frankly. So I had to figure out a way to make it work for me – rather than me work for it.” Well, it looks like Liam is definitely doing much better these days.
