Almost a year ago, YouTube star Logan Paul had a massive fall from grace, his career on the brink of total destruction some would say, after his lack of sensitivity culminated when he posted a video of him reacting to a real live corpse of a man who had committed suicide in a forest in Japan. The internet had forgiven him for all his other weird videos, but this crossed the line. YouTube announced on January 10th that the film “The Thinning: New World Order” which Logan was starring in as well as all his other YouTube Red projects would be put on hold indefinitely. As you know, his career has taken many twists and turns ever since, including with Shane Dawson’s docu series that attempted to delve inside Logan Paul’s mind. But he’s spent the last year trying to prove his redemption, getting his ass kicked in a boxing match in Manchester, giving interviews about how he’s a changed man. And I don’t know about YOU, but the people at YouTube certainly believe it. A representative for the video platform said that the project was never intended to be cancelled entirely. It was shelved following Paul’s behavior. QUOTE “The entire cast and crew worked extremely hard to complete this film last year. In fairness to all of them and the fans who have been asking for the sequel, we decided to release The Thinning: New World Order.” The trailer is almost 3 minutes long and the full film is available to stream now… but only if you’re a YouTube Premium member. What do you think? What this the right call, giving Logan another chance? Letting this film be seen by the masses? Or do you think all of Logan’s interviews and stunts all year are more of the same- strategically devised events to manipulate his followers? Go head. Tell me the truth.
