It was a big night for digital stars, Liza Koshy and Logan Paul at the 2017 Teen Choice Awards. Liza took home the award for Choice Female Web Star and Logan was honored as the Top Male Web Star. Presenters Bella Thorne and Marshmello made the announcement, welcoming Liza and Logan onstage to accept their Teen Choice surfboards.
Liza took to the mic right away thanking her fans and congratulating all the nominees in the category, including her fellow winner, Logan, before she dedicated the surfboard to all the ladies in the house.
Logan prepared to make his acceptance speech, but as Liza ended her speech, the show just kind of… ended. To be honest, it didn’t even look like Liza was completely finished with her speech before the camera completely panned away from the two of them, so they probably just ran out of time and had to cut it one way or another. Also, to be totally fair, when they first went onstage after winning their awards, Liza offered the mic to Logan before you can hear him saying “Ladies first,” so sometimes you gotta take one for the team. At least he was a gentleman.
Both Liza and Logan were also presenters at last night’s show, with Logan making more than a single appearance onstage, so that’s good, I guess?
