Louis Tomlinson is reportedly RETURNING to the X-Factor as a Judge.
It’s definitely better to be on this side of that judging table.
Louis is continuing to enjoy his solo career, and his next rumored move is definitely one we are excited for. According to reports from The Mirror and BBC, Louis is in the middle of signing a deal to be the fourth judge of the next season of the UK music competition, X Factor.
Other rumored judges Louis would be joining are UK singer Robbie Williams, his wife Ayda Field, and Simon Cowell.
Louis will make an amazing judge, especially since the show is where he got his start. X Factor boss Simon Cowell created and mentored One Direction on the show, which set all five boys up up for global stardom after they came in third place in the competition back in 2010.
And not only is Louis a previous winner and a member of the most successful band to EVER come out of X Factor, he has also served as a guest judge on the show before. So basically this is the perfect gig for Louis, next to making music, of course.
One insider told The Mirror of the situation QUOTE, “Louis is very much a part of the X Factor family. He’s a close friend of the show and would make a brilliant judge. Simon mentored One Direction and signed them to Syco Records, Now he’s looking after Louis’ solo career – which is going really well.” Before adding QUOTE, “Simon hopes the deal will be done in the next few days.”
Well if Louis is planning on being a judge, that contract better get signed asap, as auditions for the upcoming 15th season of X Factor start on July 18th at London’s Wembley Arena.
Why do I have a sneaking suspicion that there are going to be a LOT more people signing up to audition for the show now? Maybe it’s because the chance to be in the same room as Louis is just too amazing to pass up. Time to sharpen up those vocal skills, Directioners...
