Heartbreaking news: Louis Tomlinson’s mom has passed away… we’ve got the whole story here on Newsfeed.
Our deepest condolences are with Louis and his family.
Louis Tomlinson’s mother, Johanna Deakin, passed away early Wednesday morning at the young age of 42 after battling leukemia. The family released a statement, saying, “It is with immeasurable sadness that Johannah Deakin’s family said goodbye to Johannah in the early hours of Wednesday 7th December 2016. Earlier this year Johanna was diagnosed with a very aggressive form of leukemia that required immediate and continuous treatment. We respectfully request that the family are given time and space to grieve in private.”
Johanna was a mother of seven- Louis, Lottie, Félicité, Phoebe, Daisy, Ernest and Doris. The youngest children being two-year-old twins. In addition to her seven kids, Johanna also leaves behind one grandson- Louis’ son Freddie.
Liam Payne, Louis’ One Direction bandmate posted a statement on instagram saying, “Louis, I’m so sorry for you my brother my heart aches for you, just know I love you the same from a million miles away as I do right next to you. I’m always here for you through everything as you have been for me. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this incredibly sad time I can’t begin to imagine what you are all going through. Rip Johanna you are forever in my thoughts.”
Louis is scheduled to perform on The X Factor tomorrow, and has reportedly decided to go through with his commitment by performing in honor of his mom.
