Louis Tomlinson Opens Up About Losing His Mom, Wanting To Give Up & Fatherhood

If there’s one thing a mother wants for her son, it’s to be the best version of himself he can possibly be, and it seems as though Louis plans on doing just that.
It hasn’t exactly been an easy few months for Louis Tomlinson, who lost his mother Johannah Deakin last month following her battle with Leukemia, but he did reveal during a recent interview with Sirius XM’s Hits 1 in Hollywood that he has every intention of making her proud.
Louis has since clearly obeyed his mother’s orders, as he has continued to write songs, spend time in the studio and raise his son, Freddie, who will be turning 1 tomorrow. He also performed his emotional song “Just Hold On” just days following his mother’s passing alongside DJ Steve Aoki and received an outpouring of love and support.
Louis also talked about his little mini-me, saying that having a son hasn’t exactly changed his style of songwriting, but it’s possibly changed him as a person, saying QUOTE, “I don't think it's changed my writing too much. It's not as if I'm writing songs about my son. I mean, I love him, obviously, but yeah, it's affected how I am as a person, a little bit. I'd like to say it's made me a bit more mature. I don't know if that's actually true.”
Many fans could probably attest to the fact that Louis, along with the rest of One Direction, have, in fact, matured, and the proof is in his answer to the next question asked about his thoughts when hearing his former bandmate Zayn’s songs on the radio…
And after hearing that, one can only hope for a 1D reunion in the future, but one thing is for SURE: Louis’ strength and perseverance is extremely admirable to say the least, so it looks like we can expect a lot more of him in the months to come.
