The movement control order (MCO), which is set to expire on Feb 4, will be extended for another two weeks with the implementation of stricter measures, announced Senior Minister (Security Cluster) Ismail Sabri Yaakob.
He said it would be extended for every state except for Sarawak.
Details of stricter measures will be released in due time, said Ismail, who gave an example of imposing limits on the number of people entering a supermarket. The next phase of the MCO will end on Feb 18.
