Surprise, Miley’s got new ink! During her brief time off between her Pittsburgh and North Carolina BANGERZ tour stops, Miley made a stop in NYC to hit up celebrity tattoo artist Bang Bang for some new permanent body art.
The two apparent besties decided to get matching tattoos of crescent moons. Miley got hers on her inner left arm while Bang Bang put his ink on his left thumb. During her brief visit, Miley also opted for a second piece of body art - paying homage to the Flaming Lips by getting “Love Yer Brain” tatted on her right forearm. The tat is a reference to a Wayne Coyne’s track off of the Flaming Lips’s 1987 album, Oh My Gawd!!!. This tatt is also ever so befitting for the keeper of JFK’s LSD brain. Remember Miley played a small cameo in the Flaming Lips’ recent video, Blonde Superfreak Steals the Magic Brain where she was the primary keeper of the sacred vital body part? Yes.
All I know is that if I ever decide to get a tattoo, I’m hitting up this dude Bang Bang because he seems to be the go-to guy. He’s tatted Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, Chris Brown, Cara Delevingne, Katy Perry and a ton of other people. He’s also the tattoo artist responsible for Rihanna’s famous underboob ink - skills.
