The internet has once again tried to end another celebrity friendship, but this one isn’t going down without a fight. Shortly after Millie Bobby Brown gushed about her close friendship with Drake on the Emmys red carpet earlier this week, the internet immediately decided to share their thoughts and opinions on the matter.
As expected – since there’s a HUGE age difference between Drizzy and Millie, he’s 31 and she’s 14 – many took to their Twitters to express how “weird” that friendship is. One person wrote QUOTE, “It is absolutely creepy af that Drake, 31 years old, gives “advice on boys” to Millie Bobby Brown. She’s 14. Am I taking crazy pills? In what world is this even remotely okay?”
While another wrote, “when we found out drake, 31, is texting millie bobby brown, 14, talking about ‘I miss you so much.” With a short clip from the office of Stanley yelling at Ryan.
After all the criticism Millie’s friendship with Drake received, MBB decided to silence all the haters by defending it on her Instagram. Millie wrote QUOTE, “Why you gotta make a lovely friendship your headline? You guys are weird… For real. I’m lucky to have people in the business extend their time to help me further my career and offer their wisdom and guidance. I’m very blessed to have amazing people in my life. You don’t get to choose that for me. It’s nice to have people understand what I do. Now get back to talking about real problems in this world other than my friendships…Jeez.”
And after that message Millie sent a quick one to her fans and thanked them for supporting her.
