Millie Bobby Brown just announced some exciting movie news – but what does it mean for Eleven?!
13-year-old Millie Bobby Brown has been stealing hearts ever since she jumped into the spotlight as Eleven on Netflix’s hit-TV show Stranger Things. Not only is she an incredible actress, but Millie is the sweetest person IRL and is wise beyond her years.
Millie and the other Stranger Things kids get along just as well off-screen as they do on the show and their support for each other is both refreshing AND super sweet. Although they’re becoming household names because of the sci-fi thriller, they’re all branching out to show off their talents in new projects.
Finn Wolfhard, AKA Mike Wheeler , starred in IT last year and our favorite Eggo-eating girl is making her film debut next year in Godzilla: King of the Monsters. Millie’s first movie hasn’t even been released yet and she already has a new series in the works.
Yesterday it was announced that Millie will be starring in AND producing a feature film series based on the Enola Holmes Mysteries novels by Nancy Springer.
The series tells the story of Enola Holmes, the 14-year-old sister of the famous Sherlock Holmes, who proves to be just as good as a detective as her older brother. As excited as we are about this new role for Millie, we can’t help but wonder what this means for Eleven.
Stranger Things has officially been renewed for a third season and Godzilla: King of the Monsters already wrapped, so we’re thinking that the Enola Holmes series would want to start filming as soon as possible.
Yes, it is possible to film movies in between Stranger Things seasons, but because it’s set to be a series we’re worried about what this means for the fate of Eleven.
