Millie Bobby Brown just got another Emmy Nomination
Stranger things have happened
The Stranger Things cast has got a lot to celebrate. The show was just nominated for 12 Emmy awards, including Best Drama, Best Supporting Actor for David Harbour as Jim Hopper and Best Supporting Actress for Millie Bobby Brown as Eleven.
Millie reacted to the good news on Instagram. She wrote in a post, QUOTE: “12 nominations for our show!! I love this cast and crew so much and I’m beyond thrilled to see how much Stranger Things has been embraced by our peers and The Academy. Well done to @dkharbour [David Harbour] and of course The Duffers; none of this would be possible without them! It’s incredibly special and rewarding. I’m the luckiest girl….❤️”
David Harbour, who plays the lovable Jim Hopper on the show, also expressed his gratitude on Twitter. He wrote, QUOTE: “thank you @TheEmmys for the nomination. my performance is dependent on the subtle and profound talents of my co-stars and crew. the heart and soul of @Stranger_Things ; so, if i take home gold i will shred it into little pieces and pass them out on set. provide a blowtorch, pls.” How nice of you, Dave.
Stranger Things is just one of the many Netflix shows nominated for an Emmy. In total, the streaming platform racked up 112 nominations, making it the most nominated network for the Emmy Awards.
Stranger Things will face off against Westworld, Game of Thrones, The Americans, This Is Us, The Handmaid’s Tale and fellow Netflix show The Crown for Best Drama Series at this year’s awards ceremony, which airs September 17.
