DETERMINED kayaker Pedro Oliva has conquered the 82-feet-high Juruena waterfalls in the Amazon rainforest in a stunning display of human bravery - after he failed five years ago. Pedro successfully plunged over the violent falls and emerged alive, following an agonising wait from his support team. Thrown from his kayak in the impact, Pedro eventually emerged from the swirling water to celebrate his achievement. The descent was carried out as part of ‘Conquer the Uncharted’, a new series launched by PlayStation to mark the critically acclaimed action-adventure game, ‘Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End’.
