Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak has claimed ties with China would plunge should the opposition take over Putrajaya.
The BN chief said the opposition has been attacking projects linked to China, which brings shame to bilateral ties.
“If the opposition takes over (the government), ties with China will become worse, from a high level to low.
“We must avoid this for the sake of (relations) between Malaysia and China,” he said in his speech officiating a Chinese New Year function by the Federation of Chinese Association Malaysia (Huazong) in Seri Kembangan, Kuala Lumpur today.
