The visit of Saudi Arabia's King Salman Abdulaziz Al-Saud earlier this month has put to rest lies about Malaysia, said Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak.
"The recognition we got (from the visit), if there were quarters who belittled us, saying we are a failed country, our economy was unstable and so on, which caused the wrong information to reach the Saudis.
"That the Employees' Provident Fund (EPF) was bankrupt, that we had no money to pay the salaries of civil servants, all sorts of things.
