Former Prime Minister Najib Razak said parents should be given the option to choose the type of education their children receive.

He said despite pressure from certain quarters during his time in government, he approved the application from the Johor Bahru Foon Yew Independent High School to set up branches in Kulai and Seri Alam.

He said this while visiting the Foon Yew High School in Seri Alam today.
