Nicki MInaj and Meek Mill are breaking their silence all about falling hard for each other, and we’ve got all the details right here on Clevver.

Nicki got all sorts of candid during the interview, even recalling catching feelings for Meek while he was in chains, but literally, seeing that he was in jail when she fell for him.
And you know what they say: The heart always seems to want what it can’t have... until it does its time, for that matter. During a joint interview with GQ Magazine, Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill sat down as she reminisced being friends before lovers and their long phone conversations with him from jail.
She said, QUOTE, "He was on my mind the day before he went to jail because I saw him going off on Twitter, and I was like, 'Oh man, he needs somebody to like make him feel good right now.’ I remember sitting on my balcony at my house and just being on the phone with him until it started getting dark outside. And I was just like, 'Yo, I'm in trouble.'"
Nicki also touched on letting each other be themselves, seeing that the two both have strong personalities. She recalled what she really liked about Meek saying, “One of the things that made me want to be with him is we spent so much time talking, and he always made me feel like he was ok with me being me. As an artist and just as a woman. Obviously I'm a strong woman in a lot of ways… I do know that it takes a certain kind of guy. And time will tell if Meek is that kind of guy, because it's definitely not easy.”
And with their strong personalities, came a quick mention of their major recent Twitter moments, Nicki’s being the VMA snub and Meek claiming that Drake had a ghost writer, in which Nicki said she was glad she brought up such a controversial issue, while all Meek had to say about his Drake tweets were, “And of course you know Meek Mill don’t regret nothing.”
But quickly switching gears to the sappy love stuff, the couple also touched on being a “normal couple” aside from their successful music careers, as Nicki revealed, “Our feelings are very normal. Like, if I were to speak to a hundred girls right now about what they go through with their boyfriend, we'd probably have stuff in common.” She then talked about kissing Meek, which is her favorite thing to do, saying, “My favorite thing about Meek is kissing him. I love kissing him. I love the way his lips feel.”
Oh, and just like EVERY other couple in the world, when they were asked about which other famous couple they’d love to share a double date with, Meek replied, “Alicia Keys and Swiss Beats or Jay-z and Beyonce.”
