The Barbershop is back in business for a third go-around, and this time with a few more familiar faces that’ll be sure to have you linin’ up for a fresh new do…
So we all know Nicki is a woman of many talents, but now she’s putting her acting skills to the test again, and this time as a hairdresser in the all-new Barbershop 3. Barbershop vet Ice Cube gave us a behind-the-scenes peek on the set of the new movie where we get to see Ms. Minaj in action. Check it out:
So, uh, where can I sign up to have Nicki as my personal hair stylist?! But in all seriousness, Nicki will star in the new film as a hairdresser named Draya, and will be accompanied in the shop by Ice Cube, along with Common, Eve and Cedric the Entertainer.
But as you may recall, this isn’t the first time Nicki Minaj snagged a role on the big screen. After making a brief appearance alongside Cameron Diaz in “The Other Woman,” she told MTV News that she was excited to do more acting, saying QUOTE, “It gave me an idea as to what that world would be like and now that I know it’s something I can do. I think I want to expand a role eventually.”
Well, it looks like her wish has been granted, seeing that this will be a much bigger part for Nicki, and of course I have no doubt that she will totally nail this role!
